OK, so I guess I’m not having a break from blogging this week! In fact, I’m releasing a couple of blog posts this week because I’ve got some exciting news! I’ve had a slight rebrand of the blog here on my photography website. Creative Nowhere Land (https://www.creativenowhereland.com/) now has it’s very own shiny, new website, due to launch on the 1st June 2020 where all sorts of creative things will be happening in the future, so I can’t call it that anymore. So, I thought I would give the photography blog a bit of a new look as although I won’t be blogging every week, as I was before, I still think it’s something I’ll keep up and continue to share bits and bobs of interest with you all from time to time.

The other exciting news is that I’ve also teamed up with The Flash Centre, UK’s leading studio lighting specialists for over thirty years (https://www.theflashcentre.com/), on an exciting new project that you can read all about in the next blog post. It’s been a while in the making and it’s taken me a little out of my comfort zone but I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you so keep your eyes peeled in a couple of days time. We are launching it on the 20th of June 2020!

He was the man that took the photograph that ‘gave birth to the supermodels’ of the 90s, Peter Lindbergh. A simple shot that was taken in the Meat Packing District of New York in 1989, that did away with all of the relative excess and glamour of the 1980s and helped defined a more natural aesthetic for the coming 1990s. The image helped propel these 5 models to pop culture stardom and it became one of many images that helped define Lindbergh’s incredible creative career…

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so I thought I would share some of the stories of some of the incredible women who I was lucky enough to shoot for Anita Lingerie UK again a while back.

My wonderful client Jemma, from Anita, got in touch with me and told me that they had teamed up with the National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline. They wanted to showcase the stories of 12 incredible women who have faced hereditary breast cancer gene choices and create portraits of each one that would sit alongside their stories. This week there has been so much going on, and I will be honest and say that my brain has been filled with jobs, post-production, meetings, ideas and life away from photography.
